Today is the day to resolve conflict!

 

I. Is Satan the problem in conflict? (John 10:10 TPT, Mark 3:24-27, Ephesians 1:22, 1 John 4:4)

1. What (who) is always the problem in a conflict?

2. What happened when Satan spoke to Eve?

3. What is the family pattern of conflict?

• Tendency to take your anger out on someone weaker

• How does this affect future generations?

 

II. Who is the answer to resolving conflict? (Colossians 1:13, John 10:10)

• Chose Jesus daily. (Ephesians 4:25-32)

• We are ministers of reconciliation. (John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

 

III. Forgiveness is the key to reconciliation. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, Matthew 5:9)

 

IV. Four parts to conflict resolution.

1. Go to the word of God. Resolve issues from the past. (Romans 8:13)

2. Make a plan in agreement with God (Amos 3:3)

3. Practice the plan

4. Act. (Never start with Action for it will be Reaction)
